The planned Annual General Meeting at Manaton Parish Hall on Wednesday 20th January 2021 has been cancelled due the the current government guidelines for people to stay at home.


Our annual Show and Sale went ahead with great success on 28th August 2020, despite the Covid-19 restrictions. With Countryfile cameras and presenter Adam Henson, also a Whiteface Dartmoor member/supporter in attendance, ram prices peaked at £800 guineas (see below) and the top price ewes reached £150.

Class 1 Best Older Ram – 1st P Abel, 2nd P Abel, 3rd M Ashman

Class 2 Best Ram Hogg – 1st R Mann, 2nd A Wrayford, 3rd C Butcher

Class 3 Pair of Ram Hoggs – 1st C Butcher, 2nd R Mann, 3rd A Henson

Class 4 Best Coated Ram – 1st R Endacott, 2nd C Butcher, 3rd R Mann

Class 5  5-10 ewes (4t and over) – 1st K Wreyford, 2nd H Bond, 3rd P Abel

Class 6  2-4 ewes (4t and over) – 1st C Wilton, 2nd E Gibson

Class 7  5-10 2t ewes – 1st P Vincent, 2nd R Endacott

Class 8  2-4 2t ewes – 1st C Butcher, 2nd P & C Caunter, 3rd C Wilton

Class 9  5-10 ewe lambs – 1st C Butcher, 2nd R Endacott, 3rd E Gibson

Class 10  2-4 ewe lambs – 1st C Butcher, 

Class 11  5-10 crossbred ewes – 1st P Vincent, 2nd C Wilton

Class 12  5-10 crossbred ewe lambs – 1st F Baker, 2nd C Wilton

Cup presented to the person with the most points won at the Show went to C Butcher
